Director of One Wybelenna
Heather's interest in health and wellbeing extends back many years, to her initial medical training as a registered nurse.
While travelling and working around the world, Heather's interest in the broader field of holistic health grew.
Her empathy with people's health and wellness issues and needs has evolved through her broad knowledge and experience gained from these years of living and working in rural and metropolitan communities of Australia and abroad.
Natural medicine and various holistic health studies over the years have also helped her to continue the development of her integrated, holistic philosophy towards personal health and beauty.
One Wybelenna now provides Heather with a wonderful opportunity to share her vision and philosophy with guests in a beautiful environment. For her this is made even more special by having personally overseen the full redevelopment of the property that has now become... One Wybelenna.
Enjoying seven years' experience in high end spas and salons, Jenna is a passionate, accomplished beauty therapist. She is excited and inspired by working in a restive environment within these beautiful surroundings.
Jenna adored the quiet life of a country NSW childhood spent roaming the banks of the Murray River. Working as a nail technician after completing high school, Jenna realized that this was the industry for her. Soon she had moved to Melbourne to complete a Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
Jenna's extensive spa experience in all salon and spa treatments led her to become a spa workplace trainer on Hamilton Island. Her attention-to-detail encompasses all treatments, particularly massage. With a personal interest in facials and special occasion makeup, Jenna loves helping her clients feel happy, in optimum physical, mental, and spiritual health. She is excited to be a part of the One Wybelenna team, as she feels it is the perfect space in which to help her guests achieve this.
Linda's passion for beauty therapy is evident. During her studies as a beauty therapist, she was awarded Australian Vocational Student of the Year.
Raised in Chinchilla, Linda chose to become a beauty therapist as she had always loved pampering her family and friends. Her passion for nail design also bloomed at a young age. Completing study in beauty therapy in Melbourne, she moved to Airlie Beach. Here, she soon showed promise beyond her years, working as a senior spa therapist and supervisor.
Linda's favourite treatment to give is a facial, as she loves helping her clients achieve their desired results. Whether it is hydration or specialised exfoliation, she is adept at diagnosing a skin's particular needs.
"The thing I love the most about being a therapist is being able to help people feel better on a completely different level and having that trust and relationship with them," she says.
Moving to Brisbane to spend time closer to her family in Queensland, Linda is looking forward to establishing these caring relationships with her new clients.
Beauty Therapist Alice brought an ethos of customer care to her Diploma in Beauty Therapy. Her passion is massage – in particular, reflexology and full body massage.
Born in Emerald, she moved to Gympie during high school. While in high school, Alice's father underwent treatment for cancer. Observing his experience in the Cancer Council's "Look Good Feel Better" workshops, Alice noted how uplifting it could be to improve the self-esteem of others. This was when her passion for Beauty Therapy was ignited. "Since then, I have wished to become a beauty therapist in order to make others feel fantastic everyday," she explains.
As resident Beautician in a Hervey Bay salon, Alice learned adaptability and how to personalise treatments to her client's needs. She aims, through her treatments, to leave her clients fully relaxed.
Alice says she is excited to work for One Wybelenna, as it incorporates both ecological skin health while focusing on a spiritual atmosphere and customer care service.

Brenda's retinue of repeat customers are a testament to her ability to nurture and connect with her clients. Her career as a beauty therapist builds on nearly a decade's experience with luxury skin care and cosmetics, combined with study in psychology.
Born and raised in Brisbane, Brenda's life focus changed dramatically after attending a series of personal growth workshops. Her studies in psychology at the Australian College of Natural Medicine were later augmented with further studies in fields including life coaching. Alongside her husband, Brenda has also owned and managed two businesses for a number of years.
An interest in the well-being of cancer patients encouraged Brenda to study a Diploma in Beauty Therapy so that she and a friend could found a program for cancer patients and their carers in the Lockyer Valley. They had established that there were no such programs in the area. This is where she realised her passion and affinity for beauty therapy.
Brenda's caring nature makes her a valuable member of the One Wybelenna team.
Naomi's career in the beauty industry has seen her work in spas on two of Queensland's most beautiful islands, Hamilton and Daydream. She is delighted to now work in an equally beautiful setting, even if it takes a little longer to set sail after work.
A qualified beauty therapist, Naomi is skilled in all aspects of beauty therapy. She also holds a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in dermal therapy. Although dermal therapy is not offered at One Wybelenna, this in-depth knowledge of skin's behaviour enhances and informs Naomi's practice as a therapist.
"What I love about working at One Wybelenna is that I am able to give each and every guest the ultimate 5-star experience, as well as being able to perform a large variety of luxurious spa treatments in such a warm and friendly environment," she says.
In her spare time, Naomi travels, enjoys playing water sports and spending time with family and friends. A practicing ballerina since the age of three, she still loves to dance.
An experienced therapist who has owned and managed her own salon, Justine says beauty has been her passion since the day she could first apply mascara.
Justine's drive resulted in a Diploma in Beauty Therapy achieved with outstanding results at the age of 17. After working in a boutique Brisbane spa, she sailed the Caribbean seas as a beauty and massage therapist on board 5-star cruise lines. Here she learned a broad range of techniques alongside peers from around the world. Returning to Brisbane, Justine helped her parents launch their hospitality business before returning to the industry she loves.
With training in Swedish, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, and Aromatherapy massage, Justine also brings additional credentials in spray tanning and makeup to her work at One Wybelenna. Currently, she is studying nutrition, and applies this knowledge to help achieve optimal results with skin. Studies in aromatherapy and holistic healing (with elements of aura massage) also inform Justine's practice, and she enjoys healing through the chakras and energy in One Wybelenna's holistic treatments.
Justine delights in working in this beautiful environment, where she can use her substantial skills to treat her loyal clients. She is also particularly delighted to continue to work with the Germaine de Capuccini range, which she had previously chosen to stock in her own salon.

Relaxation spas are Lyndal’s favourite place to work: she loves both their healing energy, as well as the tranquil working environment.
Growing up in a Navy family, Lyndal has lived across Australia as well as in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before attending high school as a boarder at Ipswich Girls Grammar. She believes boarding school has taught her to be adaptable, how to live amongst others, and other life lessons. Her beauty diploma was taken as part of school studies, and Lyndal worked as a therapist on the Gold Coast, before moving to Western Australia with the Royal Australian Navy. As part of the ship’s medical emergency team, as a Marine Logistics Steward, and during a six month deployment to the Gulf, Lyndal has experienced many new cultures and situations which have shaped her personally.
Lyndal maintained her interest in Beauty Therapy and studied nutrition during her time with the Navy, and brings this rounded experience with her as she returns to the wellness industry at One Wybelenna. Her particular areas of interest are massage, facials, and aromatherapy.
